WHY WAS GOD ANGRY? AN EXPRESSION OF LOVE!

Starting with the ideas from chapter 2 that God is personal and that God does feel and express what anthropomorphic language calls anger, the next question is, “Why does God get angry?” As I noted in chapter 5, anger is an arousal pattern that occurs in response to a perceived threat to the self and is characterized by the desire to attack or defend. Does the “threat model” of understanding anger offer any understanding of God’s anger?
